Catinaccio, Marmolada, Sassolungo, Grande Cima di Lavaredo and Grande Fermeda

Five great Dolomite summits which we shall climb together during this week!
Marmolada, and Sassolungo are both at an altitude of over 3000 metres. The other 3 summits are no less interesting.
You do not need to be a great climber to reach these giants, all you need is the ability to climb up to third grade and be in good condition.
It is not only the sound of these names that carries charm but it is especially the variety of the routes that is fascinating: you mainly climb roped up, with some scrambling to reach the beginning of the routes.
Ice and snow complete the ascent of our great five.
