In the Val d’Ega there are over 500 km of well-marked and maintained trails. The Hotel ADLER Carezza is at the center of the most beautiful destinations. Six trails start from the hotel. We recommend the trail to Lake Carezza. On foot from Hotel ADLER Carezza you reach Lake Carezza in about twenty minutes (960 m, 140 m climb).
Beyond Lake Carezza there is Lago di Mezzo, a small lake present for a few months after snow melt. Continue your journey through the Latemar forest with centuries-old fir trees towards the labyrinth. Along the trail you will find spruce trees which are among the most sought after by luthiers because of their very high quality, which is only found here in the Dolomites.

Agatha Christie set her novel Poirot and the Four (published in 1927), just above Lake Carezza, in the labyrinth beneath the Latemar mountain. Carry on your itinerary and reach the Sissi promenade. Following in the footsteps of the Empress of Austria, you will enjoy a breathtaking view of the Dolomites of Val d’Ega within Carezza and Nova Levante.

Via ferrata Dolomiti Catinaccio – Latemar

Most interestingly the nearby ferratas of the passo Santner, the via ferrata of Masarè, the via ferrata of Antermoia and the via ferrata of Roda di Vael. In addition the via ferrata Maximilian and the via ferrata Laurenzi, among the most difficult in the Dolomites. And on the Latemar the Ferrata dei Campanili.
